Annual Extension Partnership Meeting
The Post Rock Extension District was well represented last week at the Statewide Annual Extension Partnership Meeting in Ellsworth. The event was for Extension Board Members and Agents. The goals for the meeting were to:
✓ Network with peer board members from other districts and counties.
✓ Learn about the statewide vision and goals for Research & Extension.
✓ Consider local unit plans to deliver on Extension’s future.
✓ Advocate more effectively for Research & Extension.
Post Rock District board members who attended were Tom Claussen, Ray Withers, Tom Porter, Debbie Beam, Jim Dooley & Glenda Rothchild. The District board consists of four board members from each of the five counties in the District for a total of 20 members.
At the meeting the Post Rock District Board was also recognized for the third year in a row for achieving excellence in Board Leadership. The award was presented by the State Extension Advisory Council members.
